The dhow is ours.
She is called [NAME], she sleeps in [BASE] and she sails with the same crew every time. She is ours: we maintain her and we decide what time she leaves, and with whom.

When you book a departure, the boat belongs to your group. It is not filled up with whoever turns up on the beach that morning to make the numbers work.

We leave at six if the sea asks for it, or wait two hours if the tide is wrong. With a boat rented by the hour you simply cannot do that.

Captain [NAME] has been sailing this coast for [X] years. He knows where the good reef is in August, which is not the same one as in January.

Life jackets for everyone and in real sizes, a first aid kit, proper shade, cold water and snorkel gear that is not broken. It sounds basic. Here it is not.
