The Maasai's Mountain of God: a steep midnight climb up the world's only active carbonatite volcano, summiting at sunrise.
Good to know
A demanding climb: around 1,600 m of ascent on loose ash and rock, 5–7 hours up and 3–4 hours down. Good fitness and sturdy boots required. Usually combined with Lake Natron.
